* Sun, Moon and Stars!
Here is some things that we have learned so far:
* The compass is used to tell directions (North, East, South, West)
* The sun rises in the east and sets in the west
* Shadows are a dark figured created when something is blocking a light source
* Our shadows in the morning are long and pointing west since the sun is rising in the east and our bodies block the sun. The shadows also work their way towards the east throughout the day because the position of the sun is changing.
* The sun is at its highest point in the sky at noon creating a small and short shadow.
* Your shadows will be longer in the winter due to the sun being lower in the sky
